I Love Teaching...

...and I use my expertise to train the next generation of vets at Harper Keele Vet School as a Clinical Teaching Fellow, and the Imaging Lead for Clinical Rotations.

Veterinary education of ultrasound is a passion of mine and I constantly strive to improve my techniques and perfect my teaching methods. I work with other experts in the field, collaborating with the best in the veterinary ultrasound industry: CelticSMR, FOVU (First Opinion Veterinary Ultrasound), BSAVA, CPD Solutions, Aspire Ultrasound Consultancy, Univets Global.

I love providing ultrasound training to vets across the UK, Ireland and Europe, via in-practice workshops, in-person CPD events, one and two day training courses and online. I have mentored hundreds of vets over the last five years.  I lead the practical element of a five day immersive abdominal ultrasound program in Portugal with Univets Global.

I know how challenging it can be in first opinion practice, when you are under time pressure, with limited advanced imaging options. You just want your ultrasound machine to give you the answers.

I can help you learn a simple approach to your ultrasound machine to perfect image optimisation. As an experienced trainer, I know how to structure your training day to enhance skill acquisition. I love witnessing the transformation in confidence when it all falls into place!

Merlin is an integral part of the team. He is a perfect size for abdominal and cardiac scanning. Learning on a ‘normal’ dog is essential to learn to identify abnormal pathology.

We can help you make the most of a limited CPD budget by providing group training at the fraction of the cost of a standard ultrasound course.

Learn alongside colleagues, with focused hands on support.

Save on travel costs, maximise your probe time, and start your learning journey in familiar surroundings, directly applicable to your patients.

Merlin!
